These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StatsAlpha website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

No investment advice

StatsAlpha provides tools for financial exploration and education. We do not provide investment advice, investment recommendations, trading strategies, legal advice, tax advice, or insurance advice.

1) Definitions

  • StatsAlpha, we, us, our: the operator of the Service, headquartered in Bulgaria.
  • You, your, User: any person or entity using the Service.
  • Content: text, data, charts, visuals, insights, scores, reports, and other outputs.
  • Third-Party Data: data sourced from third parties (for example, market data providers).
  • Subscription: paid plan providing access to premium features.

2) Eligibility and account registration

You may use the Service as an anonymous visitor or as a registered user.

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may refuse registration, suspend accounts, or restrict access at our discretion, including to protect the Service from abuse.

3) Anonymous and free-tier limitations

StatsAlpha may limit access for anonymous and free users, including but not limited to:

  • a limited number of company detail pages
  • limited comparison size
  • limited visible company list rows
  • limited filter preset usage

Limits may change over time (see Section 13).

4) No investment, legal, tax, or professional advice

All Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not tailored to your individual circumstances. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and actions.

You should consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.

5) Data sources, timeliness, and accuracy

The Service may include financial data, calculations, estimates, scores, and narrative insights derived from third-party sources and internal models.

We do not guarantee that any Content is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Some data may be delayed, missing, or subject to revision. You are responsible for verifying information using official sources (including issuer filings) before making decisions.

6) Acceptable use (very strict)

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Service in any way that violates law or regulation.
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, scoring logic, or detection rules.
  3. Bypass paywalls, quotas, authentication, or rate limits.
  4. Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated systems to access or collect data without written permission.
  5. Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Content or Third-Party Data.
  6. Create a competing product or dataset using the Service, Content, scores, benchmarks, insights, or exports.
  7. Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Service.

We enforce rate limits and may block or restrict suspicious traffic without notice.

7) Exports and branding

The Service may allow exports (CSV/Excel/PDF). Exports may include StatsAlpha branding or logos.

Exports are provided for your personal or internal business use only unless we explicitly grant permission otherwise. You may not remove branding, claim ownership over StatsAlpha outputs, or republish full datasets.

8) Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service including the website, software, designs, scoring systems, benchmarks, narrative insights (Beats), visualizations, and documentation are owned by StatsAlpha and protected by intellectual property laws.

This includes proprietary model and detection methodology components (including feature transforms, benchmark normalization, confidence weighting, threshold logic, leak diagnostics, and Trade-Off Ledger tri-axis normalization, industry baseline offsets, equilibrium logic, and delta/rebalancing formulas). You may not derive, infer, replicate, or build competing logic from Service outputs, exports, screenshots, or other observed behavior.

StatsAlpha, Engine Room Money Flow™, and Trade-Off Ledger™ are our trademarks. Service content, software, and materials are protected by copyright laws and are © StatsAlpha (all rights reserved).

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

9) Third-party services and links

The Service may link to third-party websites or embed third-party tools. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or policies. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10) Subscriptions, payments, auto-renewal

10.1 Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments)

Paid subscriptions may be processed by Dodo Payments acting as a Merchant of Record / authorized reseller. Your purchase may be made through Dodo Payments and subject to their payment terms and buyer terms. Dodo Payments buyer terms.

10.2 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize recurring billing for the subscription period until cancellation.

10.3 Price changes

We may change pricing, plans, or feature availability with reasonable notice. Changes apply prospectively.

10.4 Taxes

Taxes (including VAT/GST/sales tax) may be calculated and collected as required by applicable law and may be handled by the Merchant of Record.

11) Cancellations and refunds

11.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings (or support). Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise, the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

11.2 Refund policy

Refunds may be offered as partial refunds at our discretion (or the Merchant of Record's discretion where applicable), depending on the circumstances, usage, and applicable law. We aim to treat customers fairly, but we do not guarantee refunds for all cases.

12) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe you:

  • violated these Terms
  • used automation/scraping
  • attempted abuse, fraud, or circumvention
  • created material risk to the Service

12.1 What happens to your data

  • Access ends immediately.
  • We may retain limited information for legal, tax, fraud prevention, and security purposes.
  • We may delete your personal account data within 30-90 days, subject to legal obligations.

If termination was for abuse, fraud, or scraping, we may limit or refuse data export.

13) Service changes and availability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with notice where reasonably possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and maintenance or outages may occur.

14) Disclaimer of warranties (AS IS)

The Service and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

15) Limitation of liability (very hard)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatsAlpha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or investment losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to StatsAlpha (or the Merchant of Record) for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100.

16) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StatsAlpha from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another party.

17) Privacy and cookies

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how we collect and use data and cookies.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, you may submit a notice to:

19) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts in Sofia, Bulgaria, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

20) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes means you accept the updated Terms.

22) Entire agreement, severability, assignment

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and StatsAlpha regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
